Filming Day 6 - Green Screen (Ryan's House)

We purchased a green screen on Amazon for about £6. We bought a green screen because we had the idea of including all of the different time periods in a dance section during a section of the song which has no vocals at the end. It was compulsive that this was done on a green screen since each time period had to have the same background. We decided upon a white background since a plain background looked better and white offered a nice contrast to the character's outfits and props.

Filming with the use of a green screen was very easy considering it was the first time any of us had ever used one,  and also  the camera was not to move throughout the process. We did, however, encounter some difficulties. Firstly, the green screen was shipped folded, meaning there were creases that needed to be flattened out in order to get the background looking right.  We fixed the creases and carried on filming.

The Dancing section was very difficult as none of the group particularly like dancing so our choreography was terrible. We shot this scene quite a few times to conclude with a dance sequence we all liked.
